Information on the state of the gardens

Here’s some information about the gardens at Our Lady of the Cape Shrine.

Repairs to Lac Ste-Marie are underway. The problem was caused by a break in an underground pipe belonging to the City of Trois-Rivières, so it’s up to the City to make the necessary repairs. The repair schedule communicated by the City allows us to hope for the lake’s return in the summer of 2024.
Restoration of the monuments (Rosary Bridge, Calvary, Holy Sepulchre) is one of the Sanctuary’s projects. Repairs will begin progressively in 2024.
Repairs to the roof of the Old Shrine and the Lantern Pavilion are also scheduled to begin in 2024.
As for the paving work to be carried out on the trails, we will integrate this as soon as possible into the Sanctuary’s development and restoration project.
