An Easter month

Traditionally, we sing: “This is Mary’s month, the most beautiful month, to the beloved Virgin…”. We also need to find a refrain that makes the link with the liturgical season of Easter: a paschal month. Easter actually lasts 50 days, that is, until Pentecost, which we celebrate this year on June 8.

May, then, is a Paschal month. A month in which we are witnesses and artisans of new life. Even nature is collaborating and resurrecting. Everything speaks of the victory of life. We’re awakening to the beauty of the world, not just of the cosmos, but of all humanity. May this new month make us participants in the energy of the Spirit. In this way, we will truly be pilgrims of hope.
