New Year’s message

As we welcome in a new year, it’s quite a gift. What will it be like? What do we hope it will bring? On the one hand, we have dreams, hopes, plans and challenges. On the other hand, we’re equally aware that it will bring surprises, joys, doubtless sorrows and… changes. For life is never a smooth ride.

Tradition dictates that, on the threshold of a new year, we exchange greetings, wishes and sometimes gifts! So, to honor this tradition, the Shrine’s staff and management team, as well as its Board of Directors, wish you peace, health and fruitfulness. We wish you spiritual refuges, havens of peace and flashes of genius to contribute to the collective well-being of our shared home.

The gift we wish to share with you is to take this Holy Year, this Jubilee Year, seriously together. We commit ourselves to becoming more pilgrims of hope, walking the paths of justice and mercy. On this road, we dream and commit ourselves to being more inclusive, more ecological and more united. May the tender strength of the Spirit accompany us and unite us, and joy will be our true signature.
